Karl is the co-founder at ChefXchange. Karl has an extensive international background in Finance, spanning from Wealth Management to Private Equity with UBS AG, Goldman Sachs, and Mubadala Development Company. He is also an avid Angel Investor.
He received a MBA from the London Business School and a MSc in Economics & Finance from the Warwick Business School.
Oh, and Karl is both a foodie and an amateur chef who always finds an excuse to host his entourage!

Marc is the co-founder at ChefXchange. He oversees operations internationally, and is the go to guy who wears many hats. Marc has an extensive background as an investment professional. He has managed investments of over $6bn in AUM for international firms including The Carlyle Group and Mubadala Development Company.
He received a MBA from London Business School, an MSc from Stanford and a BSc from MIT.
Marc is a self-declared foodie who loves fresh game and taking it from field and stream direct to your plate.

Karl and Marc met each other in 2009 during their MBA at London Business School. Early 2013, they were at a dinner party hosted by Karl, enjoying some great food and good company. They both had started using Airbnb and were discussing how great it was to have a bit more income and get a chance to expand their social network by meeting great people. That is when it hit them that all over the world, people were getting to know each other over food more-so than in any other medium. Both are foodies and thought that the same marketplace model could be applied to cooking. Karl and Marc both love cooking and hosting and could think of nothing better than having a platform to help them get paid to do what they loved (as amateur Chefs); or hosting loved ones for a truly unique Culinary Experience.
