Invitations

Donuts + Detours

Print Willy Wonka party invitations for your guests so that they look like a Golden Ticket, you could include them inside a chocolate bar if you’re feeling like going to extra mile!  Learn how to create your own here.

Room Settings

Dinner party table

Willy Wonka was extravagant so use bold colours, especially purple, orange, pink and green.  Use balloons and flowers in this colour theme.  Giant lollipops are a great idea too if you have some indoor plants stick the lollipops inside these, also put them in a vase as the centre piece at the table.

Buy some cut outs of Umpa Lumpas or Willy Wonka himself, they’re relatively inexpensive online and great fun!

Music

Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory

Just Jared

Have the film playing the background, if you put it in your CD player then only the sound will be heard, or you can put it on your TV and turn the brightness right down so just the sound is heard and not the visual, otherwise you’ll end up with your guests watching the film rather than enjoying your dinner party!

But with all this to think about why bother doing the cooking, instead Hire a Chef for the Night to take the hassle out of it for you.  Search our Private Chefs here, who will prepare, cook, wash up and if you want them to also decorate the room and curate cocktails for you.
