Beirut Marathon: a Message of Peace and Love

Beirut Marathon kicked off on Sunday, November 13th for the 14th consecutive year, bringing international and Lebanese runners together for the greater purpose of peace and love.

Over 47,000 people participated in the running event which included a full marathon, half marathon, 7k and 1k kids run. The Beirut Marathon organization organized an opening flag ceremony where the 99 flags of the international participants were flown high. The opening ceremony event took place the day prior to the start of the marathon. It included VIP guests, elite international runners, and local runners.

ChefXChange food stand

As part of our community engagement and contributing to spreading the message of love and peace, we were there too! We had a ChefXChange food stand where runners enjoyed our delicious pasta, met the CXC team, and carbo loaded for race day!
