Peanut Butter Pumpkin Dog Treats

Dog lovers! In theory, you wouldn’t feed something to your dog that you wouldn’t ingest yourself… right? We feel the same way. We’ve perfected a recipe that your dog (or any dog) will go crazy for! These treats are suitable for human consumption–we’ve tried them! To save you the trouble of taste testing: they smell amazing but are a little bland for our human palates.

This recipe is easy to execute and will yield a large amount of dog treats. If you don’t have a cookie cutter, you could roll the dog into small balls and mash them down with a fork. Or simply freestyle your cutout.

Instead of adding water to the dough if it is dry, you can also just add more pumpkin puree (if you buy a standard sized can of puree, you’ll have some leftover anyways).

Bonus: This is the type of treat that will have your dog pulling out all the stops he/she knows in anticipation! Here’s a picture of our DC mascot, waiting dramatically for his next treat after spontaneously sitting, lying down, rolling over and shaking my hand… and not getting a treat.
