Pumpkin, pumpkin everywhere and not a drop to dri…. wait. We’re at the pinnacle of pumpkin flavored madness. Between Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) and Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie vodka, there’s a plethora of pumpkin to drink and plenty more to go around in just about every other consumer industry for the pumpkin crazed.

Jack-o-lanterns, toasted seeds and pie once defined this autumn staple, but now a whole industry has evolved around pumpkin flavor. In fact, according to a recent article in the Washington Post Express entitled “How We Got Squashed,”

Sales of pumpkin flavored anything-and-everything soared to more than $360 million for the year ending this July….
