Best Tuna Nicoise Recipe
fresh tuna slices/ thin steaks
Cooked and quartered potatoes
Roughly chopped tomatoes
topped, cooked and drained
halved boiled eggs
cooked for 6 minutes in boiling water
pitted black olives
extra-virgin olive oil;
Aged Red Wine Vinegar
or any vinegar of choice
freshly chopped parsley
freshly snipped chives
chopped cloves of garlic
½ tsp. salt
In a small bowl, mix the dressing ingredients together
Use half of the dressing to marinate the Tuna in a shallow dish, and place in the fridge for 1-2 hours
On a heated pan, cook the tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side. Cook for more if you like your fish well cooked.
Assemble the salad ingredients in a plate, add the tuna on top then drizzle, then finish by adding the halved eggs, and drizzle the rest of the dressing.
