Preparation
  1. In a bowl mix together the egg and the soy sauce.
  1. On a separate chopping board cut your chicken breast into evenly cut square cubes.
  2. Place the diced chicken into the egg and soy sauce mixture. Use your hands to coat the chicken evenly with the mixture and leave to marinate for 10 minutes
  3. In a small pot, add your chicken stock, honey, ketchup, sesame oil and five spices.
  4. Graze your lemon and add the lemon zest into the pot. Cut the lemon in half then squeeze the juices of the lemon into the pot mixture.
  5. Place the pot on the stove and bring to boil. Once boiling, lower the heat and leave to simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Going back to your marinated egg and soy sauce mix, add the cornstarch and mix until there are no lumps of cornstarch in the batter.
  7. Pre-heat your vegetable oil in a wok to 180 degrees.
  8. Gentle add your diced chicken and leave to fry turning occasionally. Once cooked, leave to rest for 5 minutes then add to the pot of your thickened sauce
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds and mix the chicken and sauce.
  10. Serve on rice and garnish with sliced green onions and extra sesame seeds
