Instructions
  1. After washing your veggies, chop them up into thin slices. Make sure the portions are as equal as possible in order to make your dish presentable.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, hot sauce, crushed basil, oregano and rosemary with the olive oil, lemon and tomato paste. Keep this blend aside, you will later use it for seasoning.
  3. In a casserole pan (suitable for oven use), place a layer of onion and season it with the sauce. Then set a layer of the chopped potatoes and season it with the prepared blend. After that, put a layer of zucchinis and eggplants and flavor it with the same mix. Finally, cover the surface with the tomatoes and spill the rest of the seasoning sauce on top. This is where you add the cheese if you would like to go with that option.
  4. Now that your vegetables are set, all you need to do is insert the casserole in the oven. You can cook your Khodra bil Sanieh to perfection for 30minutes at 180℃
