Saniyet Batata W Arnabit Recipe

There is an abundance of vegetables in Lebanese. If you are wondering why, then let’s go back in time. In the 1960s, and way before that, scarcity pushed housewives to make the best use of what was available. Everything was consumed in season, and the rich flavor of all the ingredients popped! Meat was occasionally consumed, and using animal fat in cooking was rare. Vegetables, seeds, and legumes were the main ingredients of everyday meals. That is what lies behind most traditional dishes you eat today.

One of the tastiest recipes is Saniyet Batata W Arnabit. Tahini makes an appearance again with this dish. And what better way to get a dose of healthy fats than Tahini?! Making this dish is as simple as it sounds. So, let’s skip everything and go straight to the cooking!
