Repeal Day 2015

One week to go! December 5th is of historical significance in the United States. Why, you ask? The day celebrates the Repeal of Prohibition (21st Amendment). This year marks the 82nd anniversary. We have a few suggestions for how to celebrate, especially if you are in the Washington, DC area during the festivities.

Check out the “Spirited Republic” Alcohol Exhibit at the National Archives. The exhibit is meant to show the government’s conflicting relationship with alcohol throughout history. You have time, the exhibit is running through January 10, 2016.

Repeal Day Ball 2015: The DC Craft Bartenders Guild and founding members are holding their 8th annual Repeal Day Ball on December 4th. This event is sure to impress!
