Top Things To Do in London after Dinner

You’ve had your wonderful dinner party hosted by ChefXChange. Your guests are sated and satisfied, your private chef has cleared up and discreetly slipped away into the night and everyone’s had a lovely evening. However, the night’s not over yet! After a cup of coffee (and a couple more glasses of champagne) everyone’s feeling more energised and talk turns to what to do next… Luckily for you, we’ve rounded up our top things to do in London after dinner this summer, whatever your mood.

Royal Academy Lates: Enchanted Cosmos

For those with a cultural bent, magic meets science at this RA Lates event celebrating artist Joseph Cornell’s dual fascination with theatrical performance and the infinite awe of the cosmos. Cornell’s eclectic imagination will be brought to life as the inspiration behind his dreamlike, poetic assemblages is recreated. Think cosmic installations, sci-fi film screenings, ballet dancers, opera singers, poetry performances, collage-making workshops and much, much more. Plus you’ll be able to dance until late at the ‘cosmic disco in a box’, courtesy of Vintage Mobile Disco who will DJ from their soundsystem within a repurposed old laundry truck. September 5th, £22 entrance including complimentary cocktail on arrival. Check out https://www.royalacademy.org.uk/event/enchanted-cosmos

Outdoor Cinema

Chiswick House and Gardens are opening up their doors this summer to host our favourite films, from Baz Lurhmann’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ to ‘Top Gun’. Not only are the movies classics, but the grounds are spectacular and drinks are available. The films start at 8.30 though so make sure you have an early dinner! Clubbing

If you’re feeling in a party mood, London has a range of clubs to satisfy your lust for nightlife. For a young crowd, the Kings Road in Chelsea is perfect – clubs like 151, Mare Moto and Embargo República are always buzzing. The latter even has a rooftop, perfect for warm summer nights. If you’re missing ski season, Bodo’s Schloss in Kensington is perfect, with its cosy alpine theme. If you fancy some ping pong with your dancing, The Game in Earls Court is the one for you.
