  • Bacon Deviled Eggs 

Bacon deviled eggs

A super easy and delicious dish that you will love to have as a starter. Eggs are the king of Easter so it is a great idea to start your feast with them.

Ingredients
  1. 4 Eggs
  2. 3 slices of bacon
  3. 1 small onion chopped
  4. 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  5. 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  6. salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Hard boil the eggs and cut them in half. Fry the bacon until its crispy and cut into small pieces. Get the yolks out of the eggs and mix them with onion, mayonnaise mustard, bacon and seasoning. When combined, fill the whites with the mixture. Refrigerate before serving.

Roasted lemon chicken with potatoes

Ingredients
  1. Whole chicken
  2. Lemon zest from 2 lemons
  3. Lemon juice from two lemons
  4. One lemon cut into wedges
  5. Rosemary brunch
  6. salt and peper
  7. 3 tablespoon of olive oil
  8. 10 small potatoes
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest and rosemary. Add salt and pepper.
  2. Clean the chicken and make sure that you cover it in the marinade. Leave in the marinade in the fridge for 3 hours.
  3. Heat up the oven to 180 degrees.Place the marinated chicken in a big heatproof roasting pan, preferably one that has a cover. Bake covered for 40 minute. Add potatoes and lemon wedges and baked covered for another 20 minutes. Remove the cover and bake open for 30 minutes. If the skin is not crispy after that time turn on a grill function in your oven and grill for extra 10 minutes.

  1. Best to serve wit some green beans

Rhubarb tart
In my opinion winner of all the cakes. It is the perfect mix of sweet and sour. Buttery and crispy. Simply delicious!

Pastry
  1. 250 g flour
  2. 125g cold butter
  3. 1 egg
  4. 3 tablespoons of baking sugar
  5. 1 tablespoon of sour cream
For rhubarb
  1. 10 tablespoon of sugar
  2. 5 steam sof rhubarb
For meringue
  1. 3 whites
  2. 7 tablespoons of sugar
  3. 1 tablespoon of cornflower
For the pastry
  1. Mix all the pastry ingredients preferably in the food processor and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat the oven to 190 degrees on fan.
  3. Take 2/3 of the pastry and roll it out. Place in the tart form.
  4. Make some wholes in the pastry with the fork.
  5. Place a baking paper on the pastry in the form and place something heavy : the best will be raw beans.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes
For rhubarb
  1. Skin the rhubarb and cut into 1,5 cm long pieces. Place in one layer in the big dish.
  2. Put 10 tablespoons of sugar over it and leave for 1 hour.
  3. Drain the rhubarb from juice.
  4. After the pastry is baked remove the paper with weight and put the rhubarb in the tart dish. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Cut into pieces the remaining 1/3 of pastry and sprinkle over the rhubarb. Bake for another 15 minutes.
  6. Meringue
  7. Whip up the whites until they looks stiff and add sugar gradually while whipping.
  8. Mix the cornflower.
  9. Place the mixture on top of all the baked layers. And put into the oven.
  10. Bake on 190 degrees for 5 minutes and then lower the temperature to 150 degrees for 40 minutes until it is dry.
  11. Leave in the oven for cooling for an hour after baking.
