Vitamin Supplements may not be helpful

As our lives are getting busier by the day, we seldom have time to ensure that our meals have a well-balanced nutritional value. Therefore, vitamin supplements are becoming increasingly popular on our daily breakfast plates. But are they really that helpful?

For instance, Vitamin E supplements are often taken to prevent cancers and better our eyesight and skin. However vitamin supplements may not necessarily benefit the body in any way. In fact, supplements may even have negative effects on the body! For instance, studies have shown that prolonged use of supplements may increase the risk of heat diseases, prostate cancer and mortality.

We should be careful about the nutrition choices we make. Perhaps, going natural is probably the safest and the least controversial option.
