How did you start your journey?
Baking is chemistry. And pastry is a form of art. My inspiration comes from the feeling sweets create in our hearts, that magical explosion. I love sharing both my knowledge and creations with people and just have fun doing it.
Where is your cuisine inspired from?
I was always interested in what was happening in the kitchen. And i loved the different kinds of desserts and cakes my mom made. I always was the one friends who makes the birthday cake. And i quickly left my finance career and started working at a restaurant. Then i studied professional pastry and bread art. I've worked at multiple hotels and bakeries, and moved on to start my own bakery in Istanbul. Although i've been schooled, i can proudly say that everything i know, i know from reading and experimenting a lot. And that's how i learned to come up with recipes with that magic touch.
