I have the ability to spend hours in a kitchen, it's some kind of a hobby for me. My mother is an amazing cook who taught me almost everything I need to know about this place. Also, French has always been my favorite cuisine, so I wanted to become a chef specialized in French food.

How did the Chef learn how to cook and what is his story?

After realizing that a kitchen is my happy place, I decided to enrol at one of the biggest culinary institution in Beirut - Ecole Hoteliere of Bir Hasan. I worked with some of the top Lebanese and international chefs here in Lebanon, especially French chefs who taught me a lot about my favorite cuisine.

    As a 1st time catering order from CheXchange, the experience was not bad at all. We enjoyed the food greatly and would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Chef Louay. I must point out though that our event was a small family reunion which did not need much complexities, however, I believe it would have been very different and awkward if the service was intended for a bigger and more fomal event. As a catering service, this is not an experience that I would like to repeat as ordering a catering service has to be made on face to face basis and not through online communications, as many things could affect the choice of your menu and quantities to be ordered. It just can't be handled by a simple form filling and few or more exchange of messages. Many types of misunderstanding or misinterpretation could happen, unlike a face to face presentation.

    Really loved this guy! His menu combined a couple of ingredients that I've never tried before, like the Thai black rice. I like how he makes use of his spices: ginger in specific! Great one, chef.
