Marco has been cooking professionally for more than 15 years and has a wealth of experience in the world of catering. During his career he has worked in different types of kitchens in 3 different countries: Italy, Germany and United Kingdom.

How did the Chef learn how to cook and what is his story?
Born in Palermo, Italy, Marco moved to Germany aged 19 after finishing his Catering Studies, where he worked as a Commis Chef. A desire to further his career brought him to Edinburgh where he became Sous Chef at Est Est Est Restaurant, a popular British Italian chain, at the age of 23, managing a brigade of 10 chefs. After 4 years, he then started to work for Café Marlayne, a renowned French restaurant, where he perfected his skills and gained experience in French cuisine and baking. Marco now cooks privately giving him the opportunity to bring culinary expertise into the homes of others. This means a much more intimate style of cooking, where the Chef and the client work together to create the perfect meal. He believes that everyone can afford the experience of a beautifully cooked meal at home.
