How did you start your journey?
My cooking in a nutshell....- I am South American born, but raised in Scandinavia, Norway & now currently resident in London...While growing up I was very exposed to a vast majority of different dishes, from European, South American, Asian, to traditional British dinners. I also love to create my own dishes, my main goal is to prove cooking can be affordable and healthy, by using locally sourced fresh fruits & veg & supporting local markets and food retailers. I am VERY versatile in my cooking so as much as I can bring the heat to your pallets I can also create something more subtle yet delicious. I will continue to express my love for food simply by feeding your hearts & souls!
Where is your cuisine inspired from?
My love for cooking begun at home with my amazing cook !...my Mother,...being part of a big family, food was always the main focus from breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and even down to *Before bed snack* As I got older and I became more Independent, my love for cooking grew even more as I begun watching more cooking programs, experimenting with ingredients trying out new dishes in my nifty 1bed flat, to eventually cooking for my friends and neighbours to this day. My background and also where my family and I grew up, I believe has shaped the way I cook. With a background, including Dutch, Portuguese and Asian, to being born and raised in South America, Suriname, then moving to Europe Norway, really help boost my pallets to experience and learn to love different taste, textures and now I use the both in my everyday cooking and it's loved by those who have tasted my cooking, but I most certainly enoy my cooking, sometimes I even surprise myself as I believe I can always bring something different but truly delicious everytime!
