How did you start your journey?
I am an avid traveller therefore my cooking is inspired by flavors around the globe. The cuisines I prepare include Contemporary American, Fusion and Caribbean.
Where is your cuisine inspired from?
My inspiration for cooking came from my mother, Doris who had a reputation as an excellent cook. My passions are cooking and education. I published my first cookbook titled Fusion Flavors. My recipes are a compilation of my own creations inspired by cuisines from around the globe, in addition to some West Indian favorites. I also host Michaele’s Menu, a 30-minute cooking show that shows viewers how to infuse international flair into everyday dishes and how to create traditional Caribbean meals that are easy and inexpensive to prepare. My emphasis is on making cooking easy, elegant and entertaining without breaking your budget.
