How did the Chef learn how to cook and what is his story?
As a child, everything was celebrated with food....it was our way. It is how the people in Lebanon expressed their gratitude, how we rejoiced, and it was how we grieved. I learned a lot of the basics just by spending so much time in the kitchen watching and helping my mother as she cooked, and by that the passion for cooking grew inside of me.
