How did the Chef learn how to cook and what is his story?
My interest in cooking started at a young age from watching my mother and grandmother cooking and getting involved baking with them. I carried on that interest through school doing GCSE Food and Nutrition and then A Level Food Technology. After school I took a year out to travel and found myself cooking for guests during a ski season. I then applied for different apprenticeship programmes and found myself as an Apprentice Chef at Buckingham Palace while gaining formal qualifications at the University of West London on the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts programme. Going to University one day a week, I would then work and travel along side the other Chefs while cooking for The Royal Family. After leaving the Royal Household, I then worked at the Oxford and Cambridge Club situated on Pall Mall for a year. Currently, I am working for a Food Manufacturing Company developing food products for well known companies such as Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Tesco's as well as many others.
