My cuisine is inspired by the Caribbean. Caribbean food is very specific and sometimes scary territory for novices. I love to marry bold and unique flavors with those that are familiar.

How did the Chef learn how to cook and what is his story?
I learned to cook in my grandmother's Jamaican kitchen. She cooked three times a day and put her heart and soul into making the best meals for our large extended family. I was the designated dorm chef in college and upon graduating, I started a catering business with my mother in Brooklyn NY. I love to cook because food brings people together but it also makes me happy to serve others in this way. I am still learning as a chef and many of my trained chef friends who teach me important skills are always amazed at my cooking skills and my growth.
